Johannes Burger founded OBIN Wealth Management in 2017 with the vision of creating an environment where financial planners can guide investors toward financial freedom through objective and independent advice.

With a career in financial planning that began in 2010, Johannes has extensive experience in private client engagement. In 2013, he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of Stellenbosch and qualified as a Certified Financial Planner®. As both Key Individual and Representative of OBIN Wealth Management, Johannes plays a vital role in the firm’s strategy, planning, client engagement, and overall management—ensuring the continued delivery of trusted, high-quality financial advice. Beyond his professional commitments, Johannes is a people person who values staying active and spending time in nature.

Jacky began her career by earning a PA Diploma while working full-time for a medical practitioner. She then spent time in the United States as an Au Pair before returning to South Africa to pursue a career in the corporate world. Her journey led her to the financial services industry, where she worked remotely for several independent financial planners, providing a wide range of administrative and operational support. Through this experience, she developed strong organizational skills and the ability to manage critical functions essential to the smooth operation of a financial planning practice.

A go-getter who thrives on challenges, Jacky brings energy and dedication to her role. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, spending time with family, and listening to country music. Passionate about people, she embraces life to the fullest.

Mi-Jeanne began her career in the financial services industry at 20 years old and quickly discovered her calling in financial administration. Her passion lies in the details — ensuring every aspect of administration is handled with accuracy, efficiency, and care. She takes great pride in her precision and consistently strives to deliver high-quality work.

Outside of work, Mi-Jeanne is a naturally reserved person who finds joy in quiet moments at home with her husband and their two cats. Whether she’s playing video games, tending to her plants, or getting lost in a good book, she values balance, mindfulness, and a strong cup of coffee every morning.
